Display Port Cable
Len-Link manufactures DisplayPort cable solutions for computer monitors, graphics workstations, docking stations, gaming displays, digital signage and professional AV equipment.
As a DisplayPort cable manufacturer, we supply native DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cables, Mini DisplayPort cables and selected interface-conversion cables. Buyers can select products by connector type, bandwidth, resolution, refresh rate, cable length, shielding and exterior construction.
Key options include:
21.6Gbps cables for 4K@60Hz applications
32.4Gbps cables for 8K and high-refresh-rate displays
ABS, aluminum-shell and metal-braided constructions
Standard DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort connectors
USB-C, HDMI and DVI conversion cable options
Standard and customized cable lengths
OEM labeling and packaging support
Samples for equipment compatibility testing
A capable DisplayPort cable manufacturer should help buyers select the cable according to the complete display system rather than the resolution printed on the packaging.
| Cable Option | Published Performance | Purchasing Priority |
|---|---|---|
| DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort 8K Cable, ABS Shell | 32.4Gbps, up to 8K@60Hz, maximum listed length 3m | Standard wholesale ranges and cost-sensitive display accessories |
| DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort 8K Cable, Aluminum Shell | 32.4Gbps, up to 8K@60Hz, maximum listed length 3m | Premium retail ranges and equipment requiring a metal connector housing |
| DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort 8K Cable, Metal Braid | 32.4Gbps, up to 8K@60Hz, maximum listed length 3m | High-use installations requiring stronger external cable protection |
| DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort 4K Cable | 21.6Gbps, up to 4K@60Hz, maximum listed length 3m | Office monitors, commercial displays and established 4K systems |
| Mini DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort Cable | Up to 1080p@60Hz on the listed model | Legacy laptops, workstations and devices using Mini DisplayPort |
| DisplayPort-to-DVI Cable | Up to 1080p on the listed model | Connecting DP computers to established DVI monitors or projectors |
Choose a 21.6Gbps cable for systems requiring up to 4K@60Hz where higher refresh rates or 8K output are not needed.
Choose a 32.4Gbps cable for compatible systems requiring 8K, 4K high-refresh-rate output, HDR or greater display bandwidth. Actual resolution and refresh rate depend on the GPU, monitor, display settings, cable length and whether Display Stream Compression is supported.
A cable cannot add an unsupported resolution to the source or monitor. Buyers should provide the exact GPU, docking station and display specifications when requesting samples.
Use a native DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cable when both the source and display have standard DP connectors. This is the simplest option for monitors, graphics cards and workstations.
Use Mini DisplayPort when one device has the smaller Mini DP connector.
USB-C-to-DisplayPort cables require the USB-C source port to support DisplayPort Alt Mode. A USB-C charging or data port without video output will not transmit a display signal.
DisplayPort-to-HDMI, HDMI-to-DisplayPort and DisplayPort-to-DVI products may contain active conversion electronics. Signal direction must be confirmed before ordering because many conversion cables cannot operate in reverse.
High-resolution and high-refresh-rate DisplayPort cables are sensitive to conductor structure, impedance, shielding, connector assembly and cable length.
Before approving a shielded DisplayPort cable, buyers should confirm that the shielding structure and conductor design apply to the requested production length. A specification approved for a 1-metre cable should not automatically be assumed to perform identically at 3 metres.
For passive DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cables, the DP_PWR conductor should also follow the applicable DisplayPort wiring requirement. VESA technical information states that a standard DisplayPort cable should not connect the DP_PWR pin between the source and display.
Len-Link operates a 5,000 m² manufacturing facility with more than 150 employees and annual cable output exceeding one million units.
Standard products, samples, trial orders and customized packaging are available. Selected regular products may support orders starting from 100 pieces, while modified cables and conversion products are evaluated according to chipset, connector structure, materials, packaging and tooling requirements.
Choose according to the source, monitor, resolution and refresh rate. A 21.6Gbps cable is suitable for many 4K@60Hz systems, while 32.4Gbps should be considered for higher display bandwidth.
No. The graphics source, monitor and cable must all support the required signal. Display settings, cable length and compression support can also affect the result.
No. The USB-C source must support DisplayPort Alt Mode or another compatible video-output function.
Usually not. Active conversion cables are commonly directional. Confirm the source connector and display connector before ordering.
Yes, but the required bandwidth must be evaluated at the final length. Sample testing is recommended before mass production.
Send your connector combination, target resolution, refresh rate, cable length, source device, display model, shielding requirement, packaging and estimated quantity.
Choose Len-Link as your DisplayPort cable manufacturer for standard models, equipment-level sample testing and repeat bulk production.
